they are just basing this on just status, yeah they could have developmental delay but it dosent mean they wont cathup , and so what if they are held back from school..theres soo many full term babys that sometimes have a hard time learning things and they are also held back, i had a micro-preemie and i hate the idea how they always talk about how preemies are for sure going to have problems..they might take longer to get there but its not impossible.

I completely agree with you. my son was born at 28 weeks and believe me you can not tell and his kintergarden teacher even wanted to promote him to first at the beginning of the year. Just because they are born early doesn't mean they won't shine. So what if it takes them a little longer children that are born full term some have more trouble then that. all children are a blessing but it takes a strong baby to be born so early and make it through.

I agree with you guys..I have  36 weeks earlier baby and she is just an amazing baby..it doesn't mean that if your child a premie she/he will have a development delay.
I can say that coz my baby is same as the full term babies.
they're born early yeah but they are also smart as full term babies.:)
