Holiday Travel Survival Guide

For the healthiest travel, the plan starts the night before you leave. For those who are driving during the holidays, get plenty of rest the night before you hit the road to avoid drowsy driving. For air travelers, don’t let jet lag force you to snooze through all the holiday fun. The National Sleep Foundation suggests anticipating time changes by "getting up and going to bed earlier several days prior to an eastward trip and later for a westward trip" so you are well rested and ready to join in on the festivities.
