Getting a Grip on Anxiety

It’s natural to feel some anxiety or depression as you recover. The fear of another heart attack and adjusting to a new lifestyle isn’t easy to deal with. Share your feelings with your doctor, family and friends. You’ll recover much more quickly if you’re surrounded by a strong support system. Your doctor may also suggest medications, therapy or other treatments to help you feel better.
