Regular physical activity can lower your risk of lung cancer (and almost all other chronic conditions!). According to the National Cancer Institute, more than 20 studies have examined the link between exercise and lung cancer risk, and overall, the research suggests that physical activity reduces the risk of lung cancer. Aim to be active for at least 150 minutes each week — that breaks down to five 30-minute sessions.
