Ignore the doctor that laughed in your face about your RMD! how awful! my therapist was the only one i dared tell, and she just brushed it off, which also made me feel horrible. nobody seems to know about this disorder or how much suffering is caused by it. i am posting a question about treatments for adult RMD to the neurology forum--as dr park from the sleep disorder forum suggested I do, since he couldn't answer the question (the SLEEP doctor doesn't even know). i'm going to post the answer, if any, to the sleep disorder forum. Strangely, I can't get a web address for it, so just google "Rhythmic Movement Disorder, Can't take it anymore" and the link should take you there.
