Hello Kate, nice to hear from you.  Australia huh?  Wow, love hearing from people from all over the world.  I am in Canada, where yes I still have rotten snow, expect more by the end of the week.  I work the midnight shift at a Chrysler plant, making mini-vans.  I just got home from taking my daughter to school, grade 1 then I am off to  bed.  Coarse I have some laundry to do first, blaa.  Would like to hear from you again, maybe compare our journeys.

Thanks for the note.
I've been here many times and never gotten this far.  This time, I had a trigger that brought me here.  Well, I had a new years resolution to quit smoking.  I succeeded on 1/1/11.  I quickly started putting on weight.  The on Jan 12th at work, My favorite suit shirt button snapped off when I sat down.
Well you've heard the saying that we run from pain and run to pleasure?
Well, 1/12/2011 was the day that being fat was more painful than getting up at 4am to go to the gym and work out and to prepare my meals\snacks daily. I log and weigh everything before it goes into my mouth.  I am now running from my pain as fast as I can and in fear daily that I'll get an injury at the gym and go back to being fat.
