I know that's fabulous news! As for me Im back to UND at 6 weeks :) Theres a lot of debate on the whole UND vs UNQ these days, as the body goes through its process...more on this later, ill post on the thread.

Congrats on hitting UND! Sorry for the mis info- my doc has a bad habit of saying undetectable when he means unquantifiable. So I was UND day 14, and now I'm back up to UNQ day 21 and I think day 28. Ill check again tomorrow

I agree that this a a graet opportunity. I think we are on different but simliiar trial. The trial I am on is Fission. I take ps-7977 and ribavirin, 12 weeks.

Hi! I would like to keep in touch re this trial. So far so good, a mild headache at times. I am starting to get a little nervous though that 12 weeks will not be enough.

I think attagrl and her mom were on same trial also. As far as the Riba, yes, everyone on prior trial did seem to do well regardless. They were on the 24 wks. though. I think I am more concerned about the 12 wks.only after the gilead relapse news. But...still willing to give it a shot!!

I am on week 8. I go back next week for a 4 week blood test, and then have 4 more weeks of peg, riba and psi. Then I will be on just psi or psi/riba for 12 more weeks (hopefully it will be psi only). As far as side effects, it is hard to tell what is doing what. I take a shot once a week, 2 psi and 3 riba in the am, and 3 riba in the pm. The shots haven't seemed to affect me that much, just slight fever and insomnia for a day. The morning psi/riba dose really made me feel bad for a few hours for first 4 weeks, but is not as bad now. The evening riba only dose is not quite as bad as the morning dose. I became undetectable the 2nd week, but that is the norm with the PSI 7977. In my opinion, I think the PSI is doing most all of the work. ***@****
