You are more than welcome :). Happy to help when I can.
I'm doing pretty good. And you? Will you be in the 'creek anytime soon? If so, be sure to let me know.
Thanks for adding me as a friend! We have some things in common. Italy, huh? NICE!
yeah back in Rome, in my mother's house. I had to leave the house and the job in Athens. pity I was one of the best in my department.
no I am not in Greece any more... I had to go back because of that infestation. no one believed me, I couldn't do anything about it. I am still trying to remove them, they're in my left lung. obviously nobody listens to me, only mockery, threats. etc. I am getting used to it.
just popping in to say hi :)
How nice of you to say hi. Does this mean you are back with us for a while? I hope you'll give us an update. The 'creek is still pretty much the same. Tonight's news says we are banning door to door solicitors. They are still fighting Dayton RTA buses coming to the Fairfield Mall. Think we can pull the curtain around this town any tighter? Jeez! Makes me wish I were in Italy with you sand Kyle (kwardenford ) who is there on vacation this week. take care.
Either your silence is a sign of getting one with your life or being totally snowed under with the MS. I hope you are out enjoying the summer season in the Alps. I miss seeing your face pop up around here.
Haven't seen you around in a while and just wanted to say hi! Hope you are doing well over there in gorgeous Italy. :)
Just a quick note to say hi!
Thanks for your kind thoughts - I admit Im feeling a bit overwhelmed.
How do you enjoy Italy? Its our dream and we plan a trip in September time frame
Where do you live?
Just a quick note to say hi!
safe travels home, hopefully you will post pictures of your US travels when you rest up!
The pleasure really was all mine last night. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week in the 'creek with your family and friends and safe travels home. We should skype if you have the need/urge to talk.
I'd love to see more of your pics of Switzerland........it's very high on my list of places to visit next!
Hi! Now that you're a friend you can view my Hong Kong pics if you're interested. Just looked at yours....your pups and and view are both gorgeous!
How are things going for you, have you seen your neuro again, have you got a diagnosis yet? hope you are feeling as well as you can be.......I have been contacted from a woman through NT she stays about an hours drive from me, she gets her treatment in the same hospital, has the same neuro, seen the same professor in London and has the same diagnosis as me, we have spoke on the phone a couple of times it is great to speak to someone who understands exactly what you feel..........hope this finds you well............tc.............Marie xx
Heads-up. Look out for an email with pics on your other account!
Hi Laura, hope you get things sorted out soon, thats good news about the gluton if it's helping your neurological symptoms, have you heard about a site called neuro talk it is excellent there are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge I have learnt a lot from them, I am still going every three weeks for treatment it helps about 50% it keeps the pain bearable, was at hospital today for an echocardiogram and get a 24 hour heart monitor on soon for the palpitations thre joys. I was talking to a young girl at my last infusion she has ms and getting tysabri she said the diffrence it has made is fantastic at least there is hope if you get the dreaded diagnosis I have been saying a few prayers for you...........tc..........Marie x
Hi Laura how are things with you? have you been back to see your neuro yet? have you had a proper dx yet? hope this finds you well....Marie
I'm feeling due for owing you a real message, but have more drama that I'm waiting to pan out... and today is my shot. You won't believe my luck... this is madness.
Hoping your face symptom has relieved itself some what and that you are ready to leave for your trip! Have a wonderful time! and remember to take pictures. :) XO
Hi Laura because I am new here I am just finding my way and I have just read your profile, awe huni hang in there when I go into hospital for my treatment I meet people with different conditions quite a lot with MS they get an IV treatment called tsabi (think that is how it is spelt) it takes an hour and they get it every month apparently it helps keep it in remission, I do not know all the ins and outs of it if you are dx maybe you could ask your neuro about it.............tc...........Marie
Don't give up! I know it's frustrating but hang in there and don't give up. Keep your chin up. Hugs
Just a quick note to say hi! Sometimes a long time to get an answer. Do not give up. It took me 47 years to get my MS diagnosis and 5 years for my cancer. I have learned to keep saying something is wrong until the Doctors figure it out.
you better be sure to let me know when you hit the 'creek. I would love to sneak in a quick visit in person. The steorids started working on symptoms almost immediately. The GERDs and insomnia are horrible, though.
thanks for the note. I'm hoping this steroid round will give me back some flexibility and improve the walking. I hate the steroids, but they are a necessary tx instead of waiting around for this to stop on its own. how's life for you over there? I hope well............
good luck with tomorrow's MRI. here's hoping you get some answers.
Ciao Laura! I've sent you a couple of messages actually did you check them! the MRI was negative which was good but because of that the Doctors assumed that it was all psychogenic or non neurological any ways and just "dumped" me! I feel better but it's not OK. I don't know what to do, change doctor or try to raise some money to go to a private one I don't know. How are you?
Ciao Dogmum! that's right there aren't many Italians on American health forums :) not even on Italian health forums actually which are very few and deserted... fortunately I speak English cause I spent a year in London after high-school and I worked many years with foreigners. Most medical info on the internet is in English so it's helping me quite a bit... how's life in the Alps? I live in beautiful but polluted Rome!
Just a quick note to say hi!
I will trade you for a while. Perhaps a house swap? LOL
And Italy sounds way better than Greene County.
Small world, Laura. I live in Beavercreek! And my real name is your name, too.
