Hope you feel better soon! Not sure how much Kilos are? I understand the weight, I believe alot of my med problems are because of my weight. My leg pain is constant torchure. Meds can help some, but it really is a mental challenge.

You deserve a big bear hug! Sorry you can't have him until he fixes me. You are welcome to come live here and have him treat you. He is wonderful, and very smart - I feel very blessed. I'm sure there are more out there like him. He is middle aged! My doctor says that the worst part about this disease is the mental strain.

They put me back on the neomercazole ! Go figure! Its been 2 weeks tomorrow and still waiting to go on the thyroxin...probably be a few weeks yet but starting to feel 'foggy'......I guess with feeling so good the last few weeks I knew this was gonna come up. TSH was 0.79 a week ago so no way near ready to go on the thyroxin. What were your levels?

Pneumonia???!!!! Your kidding! I'm doing ok though allergic to all ATDS now so going day by day waiting to 'come down'. How the hell do you divide yr dose to 114.3mcg??? My thyroxin is called EUTROXZIG and in 50mcg dose when I start to take it. Got me beat lol! You better make sure you stay rugged up..freezing here tday and tonight. You mustve had the pneumonia for a while or at least a chest infection to get it. Time to look after YOU! *Hugs*

Thank you for everything! There seem to be an awful lot of cat lovers on the thyroid board. I have 4 cats. 3 Persians and 1 Javanese- I also have lots of birds to watch from my deck. Hmm... wonder if there is a connection to thyroid cancer? Just kidding... Thanks for the note. I am recovering with only a list of about 5 symptoms due to the hypothyroidism. My surgeon has not given me any meds and that means at least 3 weeks betwen surgery and a visit to the endocrinologist so I figure it should get pretty funnny (sad) around here untile I have the radioiodine treatment and go back on synthroid. Sophisticated is as does... ;-) For comic relief, we do have what are probably the last two new kittens of my lifetime, and they are not entirely country club material! But clearly not as talented as your cat--I seriously doubt they would be any good at all at being buried in sand.
