Dear Dr. Gould. I certainly hope you have stopped recommending highly addictive panic medication, and started recommending a low dose anti-depressant (NOT wellabutrin) to actually treat anxiety, rather than just numb someone for half an hour.
I have this lump in the throat sensation for over three months and I haven't been eating anything solid. I've read a lot of positive review about Lexapro which could help with getting off this sensation. I am afraid of riding elevator and oh so cannot do Tunnel MRI because of claustrophobic. These Phobia were produced because I couldn't swallow pills two months ago and developed short of breath and went to emergency room.
How do I overcome this fear？ I want to eat normally again. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I read the post on marijuana induce psychosis on 2010. Wonder if this regimen with omega 3 works and helps brain to get out of the psychosis state
My name is Billi and I'm a 29 year old female from Texas. 2 yrs ago I was diagnosed with bipolar type 2. My mania is spending lots of money on silly things (thank goodness I don't do that anymore). The main component, depression is really starting to rear its ugly head again. I'm on Zoloft but I'm wondering I need a mood stabilizer? I've been cycling very rapidly between sadness, being ok, and horribly angry and irritable. What would you suggest to take along with the Zoloft?
