Hi Adrienne:
I haven't been on here for such a long time, but you were so helpful to me when I first ended up in hospital with VT (via this forum). I am wondering how you are doing? I see from previous posts that you have lost your father and I am very sorry.
Sincerely,
Bev (Liz)

Just a quick note to say hi! Just dropped by to see what was new, I keep my fingers crossed that I will find good news. From what I read you are still thinking about a pacemaker. Whatever you decide I pray it will bring you many years of relief. For me, I remain in permanent AFib, but in me the HR can be controlled, held down to reasonable rates, for that I am grateful.
My condolence on the passing of your father.
God bless, Jerry

Hi, Adrienne
I am so sorry about the sudden passing of your father. I do not feel we are ever prepared for this event. I hope your memories of your times with him comfort you.

I thought I sent you a note about my ablation being under full anethesia. My EP did it b/c he doesn't want the patient to move when he's burning. If they flinch... then he's got to start from ground zero again. He claimed +/- for full vs. light sedation. Whatever way... he fixed me.

Hi Adrienne,
HOw have you been?? I hope by now things have calmed down for you with the kidney stones but most of all, your heart problem. I think of you often. I just got the results of my latest echo and it seems that I need to have my aortic valve replaced. I have to see the surgeon on Tuesday. I'm not sure what kind of valve he will use. I am worried about being on coumadin forever but I also want this new valve to last forever. So my choices are mechanical or biological. What is your opinion? I understand if you are not up to answering messages. I understand completely. God bless you. Jeri

Hey thanks for the not, always appreciated. Those pvc's that are still kicking around are hopefully going to be ablated this time. I'm just so nervous about this one, and not sure why. I keep telling myself that im in good hands and trying to stay positive but it just keeps bugging me. Any advice? are the 2nd times always like this? I thought it would be easier.....tc

Thanks for the welcome note. I'm very interested to see how my experience goes vs. what I've seen posted. Lots of (most of) the posts are from people who have had multiple ablations, complications, complaints...
I'm hoping to start a thread: post here if you had an ablation and you were in the high majority %-age of folks that it's just worked out great.

Thanks for the nice welcome Brooke. I hope to get some reassurance and some ideas here on how to help me cope or get rid of these things. My PACS started (or at least I noteced them for the first time) two weeks ago today. And wow, what a roller coaster of a couple weeks I have had. I am under so much stress and anxiety, I am a worrier by nature. I have three awesome, young kids and a beautiful wife that I am not ready to leave yet! Even though I have had a holter, echo, and treadmill test checked out by a cardiologist who said my PACS were fine and benign they still scare me to death! Been prescribed atenolol (25mg daily) but am afraid to start it since I've never been on a beta blocker and my pulse rate and blood pressure is normal. Thanks again!!!

Thank you so much. I have to say I'm scared to death. I hope you have a nice day.

Thank you Brooke. Your explanation of PLSC was easier to understand than my EP's. I am very symptomatic and take Cardizem and now Flecainide. I had tried the Flec previously and it didn't work but the EP wants to give it another try.

Thank you for everything!

Right back at ya!!! Have a fab weekend!!!
