Many thanks for your reply. When in a foreign country and faced with such worries it is a real comfort to hear your knowledgable words. Im going to try the doctor one more time tomorrow and see what he says and then when I return to the UK I'll do as you say and see a breast specialist. Thank you again - what a great website.

You wrote, "The only difference between a screening and diagnostic Mammogram is the diagnostic is done when the Radiologist is "on site" and reads the film as it is done." This is not the case.
A diagnostic mammogram takes different views at different intensities/magnifications.
It is also not true that radiologists are on-site to review diagnostic mammograms as they are done.

Thank you for answering my question about a second biopsy in six months and the strange presentation of what I thought was a hematoma from the first biopsy.
I am trying to calm down and your answer has helped me a LOT.

Just a quick note to say hi! Mahalo for taking the time to answer my question. Just to answer the question you asked me as to if i had surgery. Yes i had a simple mastectomy and did Taxere and Carboplatin as well as Herceptin that i am still presently taking. I am in the middle of doing radiation also. I just have one more question to ask you. What does High-Grade DCIS approximately 70% of total tumor volume mean. Aloha and Mahalo from Joyce in Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for looking for Jeep65. Her message is still available if you search for her "name". Bluebutterfly found a 2009 followup for her, and she was dealing with lung mets now, all triple-negative. Bummer!

Need Advice! I am 27 years old and have just been diagnosed with Mondor Disease which I was told was inflammation of a blood vessel due to a blood clot. Not suppossed to be dangerous or cause for concern I was told. I was diagnosed from an ultrasound on my right breast. My concern is that the indentation on my breast seems to be getting worse instead of better. Also, my right arm has a slightly tingling and cold sensation. Should I be concerned?

i am going to turn 22...i have a fluid secretion from both my nipples when i squeeze them..and its nt a lot..hardly a drop or two at a time if i squeeze continuously..i was really worried..bt after a lot of research ovr d internet ive understood tht if the the fluid does nt come out without squeeezing,i should not worry about breast cancer.
the fluid in my case is white, cloudy and transparent mixed.it is little slimy.nt sticky like a egg white..
my biiggest reason for worrying is that its happening from the last 4 years..after i had a very early abortion by having a pill..once or twice in a month i squeeze to check and the condition is just the same.
