It's funny you'd think of me yesterday - having ine of the worst evenings in quite a while. Both feet, left full leg and hand, left side of neck all contracting extremely hard and repeatedly. I've still never quite come out of my "bad period" that started in May. The 2 days before were pretty bad as well - Dad had to rescue me Wednesday, as I couldn't drive home and was ordered by my boss to stay home Thursday as she said she couldn't understand a word I was saying on the phone, so she knew I shouldn't be at work.
The good news is I found a good home for my man who was going to be dumped in a shelter by the psych hospital he was dumped in by a povider who decided they didn't want to support him anymore. THAT's why I hate missing work - don't trust anyone to do my "thing".

Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for your prayers and concerns. My LP went really well. I havne't had any problems yet, just a sore back. I did feel a little weird yesterday,just lightheaded and dizzy everytime I stood up. Today is better. I hope you're having a good day and have a great weekend. I read your journal about your dad..I'm praying for him and your family. : )

Hey honey...I have been away and out of the loop for a couple weeks...how is your Dad doing? Is he going to have the surgery? Forgive me for my lapse of communication but it's hard to keep up when you are out in the middle of nowhere.

Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Moki.No I couldn't wait it out. Went looking last night around 3.Thought I was totally out, but found a carton that had 2 boxes. I clutched them to my breast just like I had just won a million dollars! Isn't that pathetic! But.Most of my shakiness, naseau, dizzyness have disappeared. I couldn't go to sleep until 7:30 this am, and church secretary called at 9:30. That's okay, wasn't sure I could sleep at all, so 2 hours better than none. I have to go to Opthomalogist this am, as they are watching a macular hole in my eye, which neuro exam picked up on. Absolutly no treatment, until you go blind in central vision of the eye. That ***** big time! Thanks for the hugs and thoughts.Maggie

You are in my thoughts and prayers.Heh Girl. Just wondering how your Dad is doing? Will he get treatment? Praying he will. I've been out for awhile with Septoplasty and sinus surgery. Not a whole lot of fun on many levels. So I haven't caught up on what has been posted. Had no TV, no phone, very spotty cell, and no computer! Horrors! We are all so spoiled. Sure hope your Dad is feeling better. I know it's so hard to want to help them choose the right thing.....or what we think is the right thing for them. We just have to pray that what we want is the right thing for them to do, and support them in whatever choice they make. Hugs & Prayers, Maggie

MOKI TAKING ONE DAY AT A TIME,THINKING EACH DAY WILL GET BETTER.
BEEN GOING THROUGH A DX PROCESS TO HAVE THE NERVES SEVERED IN MY BACK TO REDUCE THE LEG SPASMS,I COULD BE SO MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE WITHOUT THEM.
MY SON WILL BE HOME THURSDAY FROM BASIC,THAT WILL LIFT MY SPIRTS.
I DID GO BACK TO WORK BUT JUST 9-12 HOURS A WEEK 3 HOURS AT A TIME IT KICKS MY BUTT.
I HAVE SLEPT ALL DAY.

I am hoping that things will look up soon for your dad and the rest of the family...I would say the best move would be a different hospital and if that doesn't work try another one and another till you find one that will genuinely help your Dad.
