They are fine. My daughter just made a pair of overalls for the shih tzu. How do you "treat" a sick tortoise? Aren't there vets who do "exotics" and small animals?

Just a quick note to say hi! My son also has Dr. Diamond!!!!!!! MY son is not a vocal child, but i know that he loves school. They always take all kinds of pictures of him doing his school activities, and they all seem to be having so much fun! Children's Specialized is like a 2nd family to me! He has been there every since he was born. I'm glad to have met you!

Just a quick note to say hi! My son also has CP! He has to catch the bus all the way to Mountainside to go to school. I would love to live by the beach! How old is your daughter? My son is 6, I am glad to be talking to someone who is from my same area and shares some of the same things that i do!

The shih tzu, Rawhide, enjoyed his birthday. All our dogs are spoiled which isn't such a bad thing = ) They are a bit irritated because we ran out of treats for them = ( How is your pug doing? How are YOU doing?

Just a quick note to say hi! i am safe and sound and in Tx with my husband and dog! Just taking care of some stuff.. you know, when you are missing for almost 4 months, there are some things you wanna take care of...so that's why you don't see me a lot on MH...but i'll be back soon! Not too bad. It might take awhile for her to get back to her "old self" but IMHO it's better for them when they are at home, in familiar surroundings and with their people. The cat chewed the cord connecting to the computer and the modem so I'm going to be signing off soon. Hugs to you and a "treat" for your pug from my dogs. wolf

I'm glad your "girl" is better. Our pets named themselves really - NumberNine was the ninth puppy of thirteen; Miss Puff was named after a character in SpongeBob (although I always thought we should have called her Jaws); Rawhide got his name because he used to listen to the Rawhide theme song from the old TV show; Hoss Squarepants - the Hoss came from Bonanza (TV again) and the SquarePants from the vet. Stay tuned for how the cats got their names.

I just read a note you sent to someone else (I am nosy) and saw that your pug has infection. Hopefully, the antibiotics will help it.

I hope she's alright. Is she spayed? Our females are partly so they won't have puppies (that I could never give away) and partly to avoid some of the diseases unspayed female dogs can get. NumberNine, Miss Puff, Rawhide and Hoss send their support and a few milkbones.

Amen! Yeah...I said no more for a while, but Bruno is so bored! Okay...I am using him as an excuse..I want another one. I just got the call to go pick up Moose's ashes. I am going to be so upset again. Oh well, like I said, they are together in Doggy Heaven:) I am so glad your pug is okay and that you caught her infection! Have a wonderful day...the kids and I have been cleaning house all day (well, they got up at 11:00, so most of the cleaning was by me!). Bye Bye for now!

I am so sorry. I know how scary it can be. I will be praying for your family. It is so weird how our animals mean so much to us. My Bruno(the Boston) does not know what to do....he has two brothers gone. But, I see a puppy in the near future for us !Keep me posted...and many prayers coming your way!

Just a quick note to say hi! I went to pick up my Mastiff's ashes yesterday...and it was horrible! I thought I had accepted his death, and then losing Moose...but I could not even hold the box. I cried so hard...well, next week I will be picking up Moose's ashes. We are going to make a little site in our backyard for the two of them. I had memery pet rocks made for them. I guess they grew up together so now they are together...kind of like to old people...:)
