Just a quick note to say hi! I had a fusion at L5 S1 and I beleive it worked so far and I do still get some leg pain but not like it was I think I have permanent nerve damage or something anyway they done a Mylogram and discogram so maybe you better mention that because that was how they pinpointed the exact problem, it was called pars defect a past fracture that healed back wrong and the disck was pushing the bone away from the ligament, GOODLUCK!

I have a little pain in hips and legs in the morning and goes away and still take a lil perk a day, they put me through the mylogram and discogram and found my problem after i could no longer walk! Just a quick note to say hi! My name is April and my doctor of 10 year's diagnosed me with fibromyalgia  a little over 9 year's ago.I alway's complained about my back though I felt he was just blowing me off. I finally moved and switched doctor's, I was sent to a back specialist , my MRI and x-ray's already had shown that I had osteoarthiritis and disc degeneration. When I asked about the huge lump on my back he basically had no clue. I demanded that I wanted an answer so he sent me to a surgeon. The surgeon told me that my x-ray's and MRI obviously showed a fractured vertebra that had been there a long time. I had a spinal fusion 7 week's ago. Why did you need 3 surgeries? Now I 'm scared. Any advice? April

Go to your regular Doc or Reumy, request the Gene testing for it first of all. The SI injection did me a lil good I think, Iam doing more than I was but think I over did it some which put me back in pain, I go back the 13th cant wait!

So did you find out anything new? What did they say?

Hello, I am still here I got the SI Injection yesturday and still waiting to see if it works, it was not a nice injection to have! It can take 48 to 72 hours to take effect so I guess I will soon find out, so far no results.

Oh and the only meds I am on are, Enbrel, Diclofenic,Steroids, Percocet.

Well that nerve block done nothing, how long is it suppose to take to work? I thought they said 6 to 8 hrs. I called my Doc and told him what they did and they called them and told them I need the SI Injection so now I go back Tuesday, I think this pain doc is a quack! When someone is sent to have something done isnt that what yer suppose to do? I think I will reject his bill and tell him to stick it, well unless the nerve block kicks in and works.

Did you just get my last note? They gave me a nerve block instead of a SI Injection today, have you had any nerve blocks done? Do they work?
