I am so happy that your HSG went so smootly! That is wonderful news. I'm sure you are so relieved to get a clean bill of health there. Sometimes, they say that "cleans out the cobwebs" so to speak and there are many women that get their BFP soon after their HSG, so hopefully you'll be one of those success stories! Good luck to you.

that's great that the HSG went well, i am glad. so did the doctor give you the okay to TTC again now?

Hi. I saw your "mood" and just wanted to assure you that the HSG shouldn't be too bad. You'll feel some cramping at first because they have to hold your cervix open & then more cramping as they inject the dye through you. It's a strange crampy feeling, but I didn't think it was unbearable. I think it turns out very painful for those that do have a blockage and then the dye is trying to be forced through. My advice would be to try to relax as much as possible (I know, it's tough!) & take ibuprofen about an hour or so before your appointment. I know how scary some of these tests can be, I was really terrified when I had my HSG, but remember that even if they find something, with medicine today, it can always be fixed. I will be sure to keep you in my prayers. Best of luck to you!
