Stick with the Remeron if you continue to feel better. Then speak to your p-doc about a possible alternative. I can detect a bit of panic and don't blame you, but get yourself stable before yet another med change.

Thanks for your response on the Lexapro and weight gain. It sure helped alot to hear that some were taking Lexapro and not gaining weight. I've only been on it for about 2 weeks and have lost a pound. Was taking Effexor but that peeked out and stopped working. Lexapro seems to be doing the trick for now.

Thank you for everything! thank you for your reply. This is in reference to my boy friend. I also have depression and OCD and have been on meds for 10 years. Can you give me some advice about how to support him when he withdraws and has a hard time relating to anyone...his tone of voice and some of the things he says he doens't remember. these things are cruel and hateful. I know it is the disease, but do I ignore it or what?

I really love your posts. In your recent posts you talk about your own medication. When I was really bad AD did nothing for me and my (very good) Doctor added anti psychotic, low dose. This did the trick for me. I just thought I would pass that on. Now I am stabilized I can give up the anti psychotic.

I am Still a life I! am on meds again! Don't know really if it is the right thing, do they work! Afraid from the long term effect! I’ll transfer to other college next semester. Don't want to kill anybody, it is hard decision.

yes i did! but everybody and mostly my boyfriend talked me into it. saying i would be alone if i had it. to be honest it was the worst mistake of my life!!

I can't say B complex is a life-saver, I have not been on it long enough. I am needing something to get me off this terrible stuff. I have taken Wellbutrin and Prozac. Reason for not being on them anymore, Prozac-wrecked a car w/o caring and Wellbutrin - couldn't afford. I am scared to take anything else due to the affects these meds have on me. My doctor told me that the hives were not a side effect of the meds, which in researching I found they could be, crazy huh? I feel worse going through this withdrawal then I did before starting them.

plz do not mention it name, it was horrible! take it twice & stopped. never go to my psychiatrist again!
i decide to make anew appointment today, but was not sure if i really ready to discuss my case ! alot of pain come up, & i am not sure if i can ....still thinking^.^
