I can't remember when I first felt them...I think it was about 15 weeks...it felt like fluttering and then about 17-18 weks it was actually kicking :) SO COOL!! You should be feeling them soon. I know doctors say not until 16-18 weeks, but with twins, you tend to feel them earlier :) How are you doing?? I'm feeling better, just hate taking meds, but I hate puking too.... lol

Hey congrats on your double blessing too or should I say two!! My second pix was ironically at 6w3d and fortunately the babies were measuring closer to seven, seven and a half weeks which was nice to see us just a little closer to then end of the first trimester. Not holding my breath as much anymore but sometimes I can't help it. Glad to finally have someone to trade stories with!!!!

Awww Kirsty, your babies are beautiful!! Look at how big their getting!! WOW, those U/S's are amazing! You must be soo excited!! You need to put pictures up of your cute belly, show it off girl! Hope you're feeling better! :) XOXO

hey stresshead ...sorry abt that quick note just before the meeting.. had to rush off... :) So how have u been feeling. We plan to open up the secret after Tuesday's scan. ..so eagerly waiting for the next week :) u still having any symptoms?? I am actually feeling quite good... except for being gassy and constipated... i am feeling really nice... have u started shopping yet or making a list? hey u finding out the sex of the babies? did u get any hints in ur nt scan?

Kirsty they are perfect!!! I can't believe you have such wonderful perfect little babies in there... I am still thinking of mine as a blob! Have you relaxed about the pregnancy yet? I can't wait to see mine looking like that. I thought I had relaxed, but after seeing yours actually looking like babies I'm pretty sure that I didn't feel like that will happen for me. Are you going to find out the sex(s)?

Thanks stresshead... I think we think so much alike.. I took this U/S just to see the little ones again... :) I am hoping that all goes okie and we can enjoy the pregnancies and not worry much. I am not choosing or doing anything invasive either... so its not a choice for sure..:) Got to rush for the meeting.. more later.. cyaa...

Hi Stresshead.. ur twins are so so cute.. they gave u a great pic too:). Thats such a clear and lovely U/S pic. Yes please keep me posted on how ur NT scan goes? Are u done with the B/W too? I have my scan next week Tuesday and then the normal GYN appnt (I think she will do only the doppler) the week after that. But do gimme details on the Nt scan and what to expect... I am a little nervous about it.. Hey .. are u feeling the babies yet? I think I can feel one of them. Feels like someone is tickling u from inside :) Do post ur bump pic too..will ya?

It's the worst feeling. I was just reading something online too that if you already have a set of fraternal twins, without help, you're twice as likely to have a set again. OMG, it's scary. lol Twins were fun and all, but to have 5 kids. lol It's too funny...I get really sick about 3pm or so...more the evening then mornings. Though in the morning i have that horrible stomach ache and a creeping feeling in my throat. :( I really hope we get feeling better...

I was reading that just nausea starts at 8-9 weeks then peaks at 10-12 then subsides on the 14th-16th...but I'm only 6 weeks and I was about that far with the twins when I started getting sick...AHHHHHHHH!! lol We only have 2 seats left in the van, so it better only be one or two....

oh i really hope it will get easier ...well at least they understand your situation which is great...i was that close to drop out but luckily am almost done with my semester the last day is next week ...and thank god am not currently working...hope all goes well with you ;)

It's the worst thing. I've told my boss that I lose about 20-30 pounds, for each preganncy so she would worry about me. At my last job, they didn't care if I was sick or not. Like Tylenol for my headaches, I don't really take it. I can't stand knowing that something could happen to the baby. I know taking that medicane helped somewhat. I'm not sure if it was just in my head or if it actually worked. It was a green, thick syrup...very sweet and cherry flavored. Like a cough syrup :( I hope they give me a pill this time. lol Something about it has B6 in it to control nausea....not sure though. I know my turn is coming faster then I'd like it come. When did you start getting sick? I couldn't remember with my twins. I want to know if it's twins again, that's why I'm asking. :)

Wow, I'm glad to hear that you're doing ok. I know how I'm going to be when I'm so sick, I won't be coming online as much. I probably won't even go to work. My boss is ready for me to just throw in the rag, so that's cool. Well, today is the worst day by far. I've gotten sick 3 times today. Even the sips of water make my stomach turn. We're going to the drugstre later t oget medication for nausea. I had one prescribed to me with the twins, I can't remember the name of it. I have work tomorrow and I'm just going to let her know that it's kicked in adn I can't even sleep at night or stop running to the bathroom. I can't stand it when I know others can hear me getting sick. lol But glad to hear that you're back on here :)

Don't you hate that? When I was carrying twins, they were always messing up on my due date...never changes I see. I hope they figure it out soon. :) How have you been doing?

Yea I'm okay...it was a rough past couple a days but we got through it. Now I'm back at home...feeling okay. My M/S is really getting strong now! I'm having a hard time eating... So how are you? I sent you a long message the other day, whats going on ??

You were right to go. Evelyn (my friend in Germany) said that she went to the doctor to let them know she was planning to get pregnant, and they gave her a Rubella shot in preparation. Apparently it is standard procedure there. Which makes me wonder why my doctor didn't mention it. My doctor also knew I was TTC...

The needle includes live virus (as well as the antibodies) and it could 'damage' the baby at this stage if I contract Rubella. (so they tell me) I guess I will just have to be careful and wait... Hard to stay away from children though (when I have some). The kids are both having friends over today. I am rushing around like a mad duck cooking and cleaning for the visitors!
