I'm happy to hear you are doing so well. When was your hysterectomy? I went to the ONC today. I have to have a cyst drained next week. This will not be fun. They will enter through the vagina and stick a needle through my former cervical area to drain then biopsy it. I'm off to catch a favorite TV program. Take care! Teresa

You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today i am amazed at ur compassion .. im great in spirit .... very truly okay ... just not so much in health or strength .... thats why i admire u so .... i guess i want it all LOL ... i dont see why God has chosen to bless me with peace of mind as so many people seem so scared but i am grateful for it ... anyways keep it up u have been blessed and i pray even more so sharon

Thanks! I'm glad I'm in remission too. My surgery was in Oct. 07, and I am still not over it. I tried to do some cleaning of the house today and now I feel like my guts are going to fall out of me. :LOL Such is life. Let's see..when did you have your hysterectomy? Let's compare how we feel. I had the chemo, of course. It was terrible, but the surgery is what I am feeling right now. Thanks for the comment on my photo. I really changed alot after the ovca diagnosis. Where is Galloway, OH? Aw thats great to hear!! good on you for keeping up your health after such a big op!!! wowsers,I reckon they didnt leave much else in there! lol. good to hear it worked out well, A decision like that would not of been easy! Im doing fine, battling along. haha.the kids are healthy and happy and that makes me very happy!!!!

Hi! I'm doing much better. So glad to be off the meds - just some Motrin here and there. I'm having hormonal problems (they told me I would until the other ovary takes over) and is causing awful insomnia and some uncharacteristic crabiness! This too shall pass. I cheated and started driving since I was off the meds but use a pillow still. I was told not to until I hit the 4 week mark. Oh I missed the independence. Feels so good to feel like me (mostly).

Just a quick note to say hi! Well... that makes 2 of my friends having a anniversary on the day of my parents. They both have passed, but my sister and I talk on every occasion that is for them. HAPPY ANNIVERYSARY to you both. :) A friend of mine is expecting her first baby on the 8th, so I'm going to all the appt's with her. Doing errands and have an emergency dentist appt Tuesday due to PROBLEM in my mouth. Only go for problems I'm the BIGGEST BABY, so I'm NOT HAPPY to be going. :-X Have a good week.

Thank you for everything! Well... last week I wore jean shorts I wore last year and yesterday I found that I only gained 5 of the 10 lbs back that I lost after surgery, so decided to go for my jeans. They fit better than before surgery. :) I've been feeling GREAT like I never had surgery. But...yesterday I went for a walk with my son and did our leg wrestle game we LOVE to do and I PAID FOR IT. Taking is slow today.

When I was in for staples I only saw the nurses. I don't see the doctor until July 21. I actually haven't even thought of my results. I should give him a call. Contrats!

You deserve a big bear hug! Hey Roshelle, I totally understand how important we all were to you, because I felt the same. My situation has motivated me to start a local support group, so we can get some PHYSICAL help to the women in and around my community who are in some sort of health need whether it be: Facing Surgery Recovering from surgery Going through cancer treatments etc... I'm trying to get local women to pull together to build a great local support system, so we can visit in the home, help in the home, provide transportation to appointments. etc... It's slow going, but it'll happen. You continue to take care of yourself my friend. :) Sharon

Wow - that's a lot of staples! I think I only had around 30. I'm steadily improving but tend to overdue it and then it puts me back for a day or two. I went to a local festival and walked around the booths today. Boy am I beat. I am so glad that the pain is getting less - it's the energy that needs to increase. I am finally feeling better than I did before the surgery so that is good. Naps are my thing! Sorry to hear your Mom had to leave. It is still nice at our age to know that our mommies can still make us feel so good. Take care, Trudie

Just a quick note to say hi! Hugs back at you :-) How is the recovery going? Hope everything is going well for you!!! I haven't been online in a few days, i have had a bad case of food poisoning (i believe from chicken salad). Last week when we had those terrible storms our power had been out for 12 hours and i think with the temp dropping in the fridge the chicken salad must have gotten contaminated. It has been horrible! I am still not able to keep anything down. I have lost 7 lbs since friday! NOT the way to lose, Lol I hope you and that beautiful family of yours enjoy a wonderful Fathers day and that you are doing well :-) Hugs, Sabrina
