Hey there... I saw in Shadowserpants post that you're still waiting for your wee-one to arrive... just thought I'd send a note to say I hope it happens real soon (do you have an induction date yet?). Oh, and eat fresh pineapple... oddly enough, whatever it is that speeds up the process isn't in the juice, it's in the actual pineapple itself. Good luck to you!

Yes, we are all getting there! My heartburn has pretty much left, I did have some very mild cramping yesterday but nothing else to go with it. I see the OB in the morning and will mention it to him. My guess, is that this lil' guy is dropping and I was feeling the added pressure from that! Hope all is well with you!

Oh, that's awful... was the over-dryness just do to her being in there for too long (must be there wasn't much amniotic fluid left)? That must have been tough on you to wait that long to deliver her. I'm glad that they don't want me to go over the 40 weeks, but I'm also a little nervous b/c if the induction doesn't work (or takes too long to work), they'll probably want to do a c-section. Did you finally end up delivering her vaginally or did you have to have a c-section?

While she is smaller she will sleep in her car seat or a bouncer that I will bring with me. Come to think of it, I need another bouncer so I have one here and one at home. Thank you for remindig me. Lol!

ITs pretty much assumed that a newborn will come to work with a mom that works here because thats what has happened in the past, but I still had to have permission. I am in a different part of the dealership than the other girls that brought their babies. But basically as long as she is a good baby, then she gets to come to work. If she is too much to handle while here, then I wont be able to, but I am hoping that she is as good as my first baby was and isnt a "screamer", especially since I am on the phones off and on all day. Its pretty laid back here for me. There are days that are busier than others, but I have some downtime too. IT shouldnt be too stressful or hard to do.

Oh wow... so you're getting pretty close too. It's too bad you have the heartburn and backaches... but only a few more weeks of that. At 35 weeks my doc wanted to start seeing me weekly (instead of every other week), so maybe you'll get to start seeing him/her more often soon... there's something comforting about that (this way if there's anything bad happening or going to happen, the doc has a chance to catch it). As for being induced, they really don't want to do it before 39 weeks, so at that point if I haven't delivered yet, they'll do an ultrasound to see how much bigger she is and then from there they'll determine whether I should be induced a week early (they'll also want to check my cervix to make sure my body is "ready" to be induced). It's a wait and see game right now. =)

Hi there... I'm doing great, thanks for asking. I have just about 4 weeks left until the big day (assuming she doesn't decide to show up early)... my due date is September 3rd. I think I'm starting to get more anxious to meet her than actually nervous about the delivery... not to say I'm not worried (I hope everything goes nice and smoothly). If she goes full term, she's probably going to be on the bigger size (9+ lbs) b/c she's already 7 lbs 4 ozs now at 36 weeks... so my biggest worry is that I'll start going into labor and she won't be able to fully fit through the birth canal (my doc was even a little worried about that since I'm on the smaller side). But anyway... those worries aside, I absolutely can't wait to meet her. =) How have you been feeling?

Wow, you have your hands full. There are three of us all together, myself, my co worker and our boss. My coworker and I do most of the appointment setting, all of the follow ups, and lately we have been checking to see if people are interested in extended warranties if they dont already have one. Otherwise thats about it. It sounds like you do more than we do. We schedule for service and details, and some windshield replacements, and things like that, but its pretty basic and simple. I think you do quite a bit more than I do. :-)
