Hi, no results back from the bloods yet - but I have a sneaking feeling that they are going to show 'within normal ranges' as per usual!! Not that I want anything wrong but I get so fed up feeling yucky and being told I'm 'fine'. Oh well - we'll see.

Hi How's it all going? I was thinking of you today. The gale force winds have brewed up some pretty mean waves here. My B/F is peeved he is missing out on surfing them...he's in USA instead of home here!

Bless you hun! Thanks so much for thinking of me - yes my joints and muscles are really bad this week and I am nervously waiting for Friday's appt to find out if i am having the TT. God I hope not - not that I'm bothered about losing the thyroid just another surgery and recovery. hey ho
How are things with you? Any updates? How are you feeling?

hi i am 42 year old aussie just had my TT 4 weeks ago still off work calcium is still low and its not at a stable level wishing you well with it all i was pretty nervous but the surgery went well , i had a large multinodular goiter and when removed the parathriod glands where damaged and has now left my calcium levels low good luck

I am so sorry to read about your diagnosis but what a great surgeon to take the lot out. No second surgery - thats good news at least. As for the rest well I can only reiterate what all the others have said - you will have good moments and bad ones but hang in there. It's found, it's out, it's gone! You're on the meds and on your way to rcovery now. We are all here to listen and help when we can. Anytime!

Thank you for your support.I have 1 15 yo daughter who loves to surf . She just learned last summer while we were at Cocoa Beach. She took a lesson at Ron Jon's surf shop. She rented a board and practiced. While practicing .a man from Hawaii saw her and assisted her. He taught her a lot. We are suppose to go back to Cocoa Beach the week of July 4th. That is why I waited until July 14 to have the surgery. The surgery schedule lady was going to work me in for June 30th. I hope this was the right decision.
I realize you are going through a lot. I have been praying for you. I hope you are feeling great today.

I am doing OK today...yesterday was a bad day...I don't know if I told you but I have swollen nodes like everywhere, so I started flipping out about other cancers...yeah, that is NOT a good thing to do...please don't do that! (GOOGLE is NOT your friend) I am having some follow-up testing but I am PRAYING that I am JUST FINE...no more cancer for me thank you very much! We are in our 20s!!! We have a whole lot of living left to do! Where in the UK are you? I studied at Mansfield College in Oxford for a semester...I love it there! Keep up your positive outlook! you are going to be healed soon and better than EVER!!

I know waiting for pathology is hard, but remember that the chance of malignancy is super small, right? And if it is, then we are ALL here for you, but it wont be, praying for you that it wont be! D
