Hey there! I was wondering if you could shed some light on clomid. I did my first round this past month, and got a BFN, but I'm still determined! Has it ever caused weird spotting for you? On 9DPO, I started spotting dark brown, and I got excited thinking it was implantation bleeding. Then the spotting turned into pinkish red, and never stopped. As a matter of fact, I'm STILL spotting, and technically I'm 16DPO, and AF's suppose to come in 4 days. I'm also on Prometrium for 2 m/c's. Have you ever had spotting? Did you ever get abdominal pains? I'm at a loss, cause after 14yrs of menses, I've NEVER had spotting like this.
I'm glad you got a bit of good news, finding out it wasn't an ectopic preg. My prayers are with you. :)
Hoping that's not the case in my situation.

Hi Isabelle,
Just a quick note for you...Be aware that Clomid (after using it for more than 4 cycles) can affect your lining also. I believe there's another kind that you can use to stimulate your ovaries besides Clomid. I have used it for more than 6 cycles and I started having very thin lining. Luckily after two tries of IVF, with the help of Estradiol (patches, suppositories, tablets) it finally went up from 5.2mm to 7.1mm. Just keep this in mind.

I normall O around cycle da 12-13. This month on Clomid, I didn't get a positive OPK until day 16. Clomid lengthens your follicular phase. What days did you take it? I usually have taken in the past on days 3-7, but was out of town, and didn't take it until days 4-8, and I think the later you take it, the longer until O (i/e. if you took it days 5-9, you may not O until cycle day 17-18)
