Maybe there is something else they can switch you to that will help but that won't harm the baby. If your on the Xanax from having a m/c before, I would think that your situation may only worsen if somthing happens because you continued to take it. A doctor is required to "first, do no harm". If you explain your situation, your doctor should give you a reasonable alternative. Good luck!
