We are aiming for a total hysterectomy unless there is a problem with my adhesions from my previous intestinal surgery getting in the way. It will be an open surgery with vertical cut so will be in hospital 4 - 5 days and home for at least a month. Can't wait :)

Even though you're going through this extra stress from your work, I hope you at least had a really nice mother's day with your family. Did you get to bring your son home with you? What did you guys do? We had steaks and shimp, spaguetti (my son's favorite), and some really yummy cakes my husband made at work.

At least now you can take your time to recuperate and then look for another job. Is it legal for them to fire you when you were on medical leave? Maybe you should consult a lawyer about it. Oh, you poor thing. I'm not working right now, but I've been there when I had back problems. Sorry you have to go through this. Did you go, did they just call you, what happened? For me, it's been an ok day, but part of my incision is oozing something out and it smells. I probably need to have it checked, must be infected. So what are you going to do, hon? Are you taking time off or are you looking for a job soon?

Hi! They haven't said where the darned thing is - I tend to think it is on the outside because my ovaries are not in good shape due to having several ectopic pregnancies right at the top of my tubes and especially with the size of the cyst I can't imagine it fitting inside! I won't be doing much with the meds - maybe just for sleep if I can't - I like having my wits about me and listening to my body. I can see Clint Eastwood's ex too but definitely Lauren Holly in there!

Yes, the pain is increasing. I have the fibroid and the huge cyst and I think the cyst is what is causing me the most pain. I'm going to give in and start with some pain meds. I hope you are doing better. Did anyone ever tell you you look like Lauren Holly? Take care, Trudie

Oh, no, well at least the bleeding was getting better. Hopefully by tomorrow you won't see any more blood. I miss that hospital bed! It was really helpful in getting in and out of bed, huh? I'm still dizzy. I even stopped taking my pain meds to check if that was making me dizzy. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a little bit of fluid coming out of the incision, tiny bit.... I'll see if any more comes out tonight. Hope you feel better tomorrow. I think I'll probably call my doctor too about my dizziness. I can't read too much because of it. Even being on the computer makes my head spin. I''m glad you have help from your family though. At least you get more rest that way. Good luck tonight. Let me know how you do tomorrow.
