Don't worry about me. I'm doing OK - just up to my shoulders in paperwork instead of my eyeballs LOL. So you didn't know about all the extras coming out, eh? Sorry about that. You will start to feel better soon. Not bouncing around better but better. Be good. Irene

Praying for negative results on your pathology. One reason I had the major hernia surgery was so they could peek around and see if there were any spots that didn't show on the PET/CT and also did a washing. Thank God all was negative. Still have a tiny lymph node we are watching, but I am doing OK with that. Please keep us posted and God Bless You. Judy

Poor baby. I'm smiling but feeling for you at the same time. Thank you for the kind words. Hope it all works out with your brothers and that all the pieces and problems work themselves out. I just know everything will be fine.

Hi! So good to hear from you. I've been crazy busy at work so have only been spending a few minutes here and there on the forums. I usually catch up on the weekends. I'm doing better - seems to be severe PMS. How are you doing? All A-OK for the surgery?

Val, I seriously hope that you are better Friday for all the pre-tests! You just cannot wait any longer. Stay home, on the prednisone and get as much rest as possible. I will be thinking of you Friday, so make sure you let me know how it goes! The party last night was fun. I did drink, even did a shot of goldschlager, which I love. But man the smoke in the place makes me miserable. I was up at 5am, couldn't breathe from all that getting in my head. But they had done a great job with food and one game. I told her not to do any of that, but what she did was cute. It was based on line dance songs I had picked. and they brought me gifts, which I did not expect. It was really very nice of them, and especially my friend Mary.

Hi! I've gotten the occasional hot flash and night sweat over the last few years but in the last couple of weeks it has been so much. I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster and am afraid I am going to lash out at innocent parties. It would be nice if I could just embrace my inner b i t c h but the guilt is awful!

Hi Valerie, I am not doing chemo right now, I am having surgery next week, the 17th,at Sloan in the city. My Rx approach is 3 chemos, surgery, then 3 chemos. I had great success with the firt 3 chemos, lots of cancer gone. I spent all morning and early afternoon today at Sloan , speaking with surgeon, doing pre-op workup , etc. I am having total hysterectomy and then some. Took the train in with hubby, when it stopped at Yonkers, I thought of you! Maybe one of these times we can meet for lunch, after we are both done with the surgery and before the snow flies.
