Just a quick note to say hi! Hope you're feeling better this week. Wish me luck on gettng in to see a doctor today. They act like I am crazy because I want to talk to dr. about all this. I have never talked to her since June when she diagnosed it with blood work and just sent out messages via nurse and prescribed meds. I may have to switch dr.'s but I have always liked her. Oh well, I'm nervous for some reason - Ithink because I think she's giong to think I'm nuts. You can tell my day isn't starting out good by my typos. Oh well, I figure you know what I'm saying.

Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Laura! Appt went fine. Told me I have Hashimoto's right away, and started me on 50 mcg of Levoxyl. Have only been taking it for a week, so not sure if I feel any different quite yet. I really don't feel all that bad right now . . .the 'lump in throat' feeling has subsided dramatically. He's not doing a FNA of the nodules . . .said mine are not hot nor cold . . . showed up on ultrasound only, didn't show up on thyroid scan. We'll see . . . thanks for asking!!

Laura I posted at the forum to get help and advice and not with Dr.Lupo becasue it's very difficult to get a post in there.I noticed 5-6 replies to others and I got 2 ..one telling me I had posted wrong place. and the other saying I didn't have a Thyroid problem??? disappointed"yes" i was hoping to get some help and friend along the way.Sorry I guess I don't fit in.I won't repost so it's ok even if my post is now on page 4. Sorry for any inconvience.

Just a quick note to say hi! yes i am going back on the armour tomorrow ,i think??!! even went out and bought a new bed to help w/all these aches & pains! my t3 reverse was 31 (11-32). my thyroxine free dropped to 0.86. that's when i noticed more hair in my comb. my dr. hasn't said anything about anything. she doesn't communicate very well and i don't know what to ask her yet. i'm learning!!
i just had my labs done on 8/1, the first ones were done on 5/13...what's cytomel. i seen you girls talk about it. thanks,s2

Just a quick note to say hi! hi laura, i sent you a message but i may have forgotten to send it !! yes i'm confused again. i have quit taking the armour cuz having my tsh level low just doesn't sound healthy to me . your tsh is such a vital hormone. for your body. at first my levels were all normal tsh-2.50 and thyroxine-1.05, my t3-219, not normal...my dr. did say that my t4 does not convert to t3 in my body. like i really understood wtf she was talking about??!! so can you explain better? thanks,s2

We're the same in that I too want to get back to my healthy, tough self. And I know we will - it just takes some time and patience.

Just a quick note to say hi! I hope your birthday went great!!! I might be in the over 40 club but I made a statement on my 35th birthday that I was resorting back to 21 and was going to start each year in a minis pattern; so I guess that makes me a teenager now. LOL. Wish I felt that way still; nevertheless, I am a fighter and always will be. It's in the blood line. I will not get old gracefully. LOL. Just a quick note to say hi! Hi, just wanted to let you know how my MD appt went today and get your input. First of all, my last TSH was 5.3 and my thyroperoxidase AB is 704. My MD says I have 'something autoimmune thyroid' going on, but is not calling me hypo. I think she's deferring to the endo I will see on Aug 21. My two nodules showed up on ultrasound, but not on thyroid scan, so she says they're neither hot nor cold. Oh, and she wanted me to see Pardo, but he doesn't take my insurance, so I will see Richard Weiss. I will probably be biopsied. The only thing she IS treating is my severe osteoporosis I seem to have in my spine. I personally think it's all related. I personally think I have hashi's. Maybe early stages, if that's possible. Thoughts????

Just a quick note to say hi and thank you for all of your support! I did not have to have surgery today! OMG the nodule is gone!!!!! 2 techs and a radiologist did the US again today after I got preped and there was no nodule anymore. The cyst is still there, but they are not worried about that. I go back in 6 months for another US. So excited!!! Again, thanks for your support! Much love ~Kim
