Just a quick note to say hi! Just wondering how your summer has been? Hope everyone is well? We went camping for a few nights,had a great time... Like to of stayed a few more nights. We are looking to buy another house, so we have been house hunting for the last 3 weeks or so. Sure are alot of crumby homes for alot of money. Some people are asking way too much! But we think we found our next home last night,,its a three bedroom house, beautiful backyard (fenced for Jewels) needs a little tlc, but what home doesn't. I was taking Jewels for our walk last night and I was thinking about Peanut, (I miss her so much) she would love that backyard. I still get upset when I think about her., Even right now writng this. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughters problems. I was in a very violent marriage and I wish my family was there to help (this is what made me become a nurse). Do what you have to do but dont forget to take care of yourself too. Please keep me posted. HUGGS!! We need more people like you to get involved!!

Hi sweetie, no not OK over here, had our Babalu to emergency vet and he has a genetic/hereditary Intervertebral Disc Disease in the cervical area. ..we have to take him down to see a Neurologist, it can be very bad, it affects the spine and can paralyze them. He may need surgery, won't know until further testing. his allergy's have been very bad too and he's back on anti-biotics again. very bad couple of weeks. I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown if one more thing goes wrong, I've had to up my own meds just to keep sane. Can I just have 1 month free of bad things happening? Is that too much to ask for? Especially to my babies, I am just so upset, that dog is my soul mate, the angel on my shoulder,he has gotten me thru so much these past few years, I cannot lose him, not now....

Thank you. I'm okay. We had Bailey cremated and brought her ashes home. I miss her. It's especially hard when I get home from work and know that as I open the front door she won't be there barking and tearing around the corner with her tail wagging so fast her whole body wiggles, to greet me. But I have made peace with my decision. Your words were very kind and I shared them with my grandson who looks up at those stars at night, points to one, and says, "There's Bailey, Grandma. She winked at me."

He passed on Satuday, 5 days ago. I understand the frustration of seeing your dog recover from a surgery only to have them relapse due to a blood clot after a few days. It's very disheartening. Thank you for your thoughts.

The violin is a beautiful instrument to play :) I know what you mean with Chi's, i ony have three and it feels like 10! I am always looking on the ground in case they get hurt or trodden on. But they are lovely dogs and they feel like my children :)

Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for your concern. I was at a party on Sunday and a young women I met there had worked at a vet's office so I gently brought her up to date with my quest and she nixed the idea about having a pill on hand. She said that they don't work very well, and all she suggested was to have a catheter inserted for the administering of the solutions. I had to leave but wanted to drill her a bit more, like, if it is difficult to insert it into the vein, then what??? Well, I'll keep my quest alive. In the meantime, really nice to receive your note. Aww thanks :) Yea i'm ok. My three little chihuahua's are missing my dog Zack. They are lazing around and not as hyper as usual. The house feels bare without him :( Thanks for your note, i appreciate talking to people about it! Charlotte

Doing okay. Willie is eating a bit more, but run out of medicine in two days. Don't know what to do then, since he probably won't eat the heartguard. He whines when he's in his crate at night and wants to go outside, so I just leave him out there. How are you and yours doing?

Hi Chi: July 8 @ 05:21a I am very happy that you are so happy!!!! Obviously, all is going well with you and yours. Have stayed off the forum for a while, but I don't think it makes it any easier, really. It's been six weeks now, and I miss her more and more every day. All I see at night when I close my eyes, is Becca seizing helplessly and me trying to hold her. The other sight I see is her lying on a cold stainless steel table, and the doctor saying "Bobbe: Becca is dead." It won't leave me along. Hope when I talk to you next, things will be getting a little better. Living alone and being retired doesn't help either. Bobbe

I hope my Otis isn't too bad.....I have meds for it but hate using them, only if I really have to. Oh, and I shaved my legs!!!!!, LOL......and did some painting too.......
