Seriously though, they are wonderful and they will be sooo thorough. They will either take all the tests that you've brought and look over them, or redo them if necessary. I say it is worth it, and they do work with any isurance company out there. Thanks for the note as well....

Just wondering about the acupuncture - I have considererd it but decided it was possible to set off muscular spasm problems by having it done. I based that on some research I did, but don't remember the specifics. My massage therapist's BF is an accupuncturist and we have talked about it a lot, Good luck at Vandy. Laura

Just a quick note to say hi! well atleast you dont have to drive back to memphis....so on your mri they did not find any lesions?? I have had 2 brain mri and they both are normal...no explanations for cause of my problems. I went back to optho yesterday, I dont know why I torcher myself.....he said everything looks normal, eye pain could be referred pain maybe from the TN?? Flashes and floaters are viterous stuff floating around...Feb. he said I had a partial posterior vitreous detachment so just left over stuff floating i guess...
well, take care of yourself and try to eat and let us know how the mra comes out...

glad to hear from you, but not glad you are not getting any relief...sorry. Do you have to go back to memphis for the mra? what is a mra anyway...(gonna look that up) well good luck on the test, you never know but the surgery might help??? any plans on when he can do the surgery...hopefully soon huh!! Let us know the outcome of the mra...

Hi emschick, havent seen any activity from you, I was wondering how your appointment with the 2nd neuro went??? Did you find anything out!!! I know we only spoke 1x, but I also have TN and was just curious,,,hope your pain has subsided. let us know how things went.

Hi Chick-a-Dee , I'm so sorry things went the way they did yesterday.The age of the neuro doesn't matter. My 2nd neuro was early thirties , he said he would not count any of my lesions, four were 4mm and many smaller. Sent me off to a sleep center ????said I had to be sleep deprived ??? My neuro now is in his fifties , not a hotty , but has smarts.:) and my pcp taught in the Air Force , he is the BEST..meticulous .. You just never know . Good luck next week. Always take your time line. You're doing really well . Don't give up!!!(( HUGS)) Jo

Just a quick note to say hi! Hey Girl! You have an appt. tomorrow! Wishing you a great Dr. who is thorough and sees everything that is going on. I know you have a shorter timeline, and that is good. Lots of these test he'll want to re-run, so it's not a big deal to not have them all listed. What I did was kept my list on my lap, as a cheat sheet, and that way I could decide if I wanted to pass it to him leave him a copy or not. Will be thinking of you! -Shelly

So sorry to hear you are suffering so much and I hope to God that you get some results from your upcoming neuro appointment honey! I can relate to neuralgia pain and it is not fun...it is H*LLLLLL on earth!
