Hi! I came across your profile and wanted to congratulate you for having quit smoking after so long!!!! I was a 20 plus yr. smoker & quite 16 yrs. ago. Big challenge, but worthwhile one.

I too am having problems with my narcotics for pain. If I take them I itch, If I don't, well...I hurt. My primary Dr. sent me to see an allergist yesterday. He gave me allergy medicine that should help the itching, so that I can continue to take my pain medication. He also said something that really surprised me. If I can not tollerate the narcotics, he suggested medical marijuanna. I laughed, but he was serious. I am a mother of three and had not considered this route and probably will not unless I run out of options. I can't even believe that I am typing this. Now that spring is arriving, I hope that the sunshine and warmer temperatures help.
