How are you doing? I'm going on methotrexate tomorrow, the steroids have stopped working and too many side effects showing up.
Thanks! Been really busy here. Been seeing a million and ten doctors and one in particular is my saviour! First round of tests this morning proved a BIG point! I shall tell more soon! Take care!
Just a quick note to say hi! thank you, thing are coming back slowly to normal. She is cancer free!!!!!
Much and all as I don't really like Vegas, TAKE ME WITH YOU! LOL! I hope you have a lovely time. My cousin just got back from there, and loved it. ((She's an Aussie who won a holiday to Legoland!)
Have fun and don't spend too much money!
Yeah, been pretty lousy past few weeks. Had vomiting last week. Felt rotten! Been getting headaches and nausea big time for months now but getting worse. My Free T3 has fallen way low, but of course, no body in the Magic Land of Oz, knows why or seems to care....grrrrrrr...just waiting to konk out in the street! Then by golly! I will show them I really AM sick! LOL! How's things over there!?
Just a quick note to say hi! That snow sounds nasty! Just wanted to say hi and hugs! Stay warm and maybe invest in some sled dogs!
Happy Holidays! Happy wonderful 2010. May this year bring us all joy and peace!
Just a quick note to say hi! Glad to hear your scan negative. Have you had any issue with a positive thyroglobulin after your thyroidectomy?
Waaaah..boohooo sob, grumble moan groan and waaaaaaaaaaaaah! Stomps feet, chucks coffee cup, kicks cat....empties used Kleenex all over the floor,.... looks at pictures of fluffy animals with big eyes, listens to love songs.....waaaaaaaaah...sob sob sob .....Hmmmm now that sure feels better....well, at least for now! Hee hee
Hormones, hey? I know how you feel with the emotional stuff, going through it myself at the moment. Mostly I think coz I miss the US and all I was doing. But also coz of my stupid hormones playing up. Let's have a big cry session together! LOL!
G'day! Well, seems my darling son back home has been caught out at growing marijuana! Unbelievable twerp! Talk about stressing me out! Not only did two of my precious cats drop dead on me while I am gone, now my stupid son is likely to be arrested! AAAAARGH! On a good note, it's snowing here! First time I have ever been in snow..sooo beautiful! Thanks for taking the time to ask me how it's going. I am hopefully going to try to find the time to put a journal entry in soon! Take care!
Thank you for commenting on my bracelets! I really enjoy making them. Even more when I get the compliments! Never mind the Wilma laugh, I know someone who does a laugh like Krusty the Clown!
Hope you feel better soon! Hey there! Sorry you are having a hard time of it. I've been off enjoying myself and didn't know you were so poorly.
I would love the purple fuzzy socks. I'll have to post a pic of the winnie the pooh. They are black with neon colors with a big winnie the pooh on top of the foot. They keep the feet warm though. I wear them with my tweety fuzzy pj pants. It might look funny, but I'm warm and comfortable.
I hear ya about the cold. I have big fuzzy winnie the pooh socks I have to wear around. My DH doesn't understand he's always hot because of his high blood pressure. I curl up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and my socks on and my feet will sometimes still be cold.
Well my endo spec says my numbers are ok. I've been on 50 mcg synthroid since January. But I've been getting that choking feeling again lately. I still can't get my hair to stop falling out though. Maybe thats not my thyroid then. Oh well. At least the fatigue is better. How's yours going?
G'day! I am here! Tired but here! Amazing this heat! Reminds me of my own summers! Been hiking and eating all my yummy foods. Need to hike to wear it all off again! Hee hee.How are you fairing lately?
I seen in the Dr Thread you have Hashi's.
Most doctors don't test for Hashi's or Graves Disease. You got lucky. I had problems for 2 years, finally my blood pressure dropped low. I did my research and went to an endocrinologist. DX Hashimoto's. My DR said my thyroid was fine, just from TSH results. Take care.
I know about being cold all the time. But, my doctor says I can't have a thyroid disorder if my TSH is normal, which it is. My FT3 is low and FT4 is very low end of normal, but he doesn't care....it's all about TSH. Oh, well. If anything is "going", it will eventually show up in the TSH as well. Hang in there. I'm in my long sleeves and jackets in July with ya!
Sorry. I thought to go back and check and saw that you're on the thyroid forum. Do you need to have some blood work done or your Rx's tweaked? Just checkin'! Take care.
Hey, I'm serious....you should have your thyroid checked!!!! Have you? THINK ABOUT IT!
Har har har! That was hilarious! Your hubby is smart!
Just a quick note to say hi! You speak you mind so WELL. I *love* reading your responses. I hope you never give up and stick around for a good long time. Even though you and I don't agree on a lot of things, I have NEVER felt put down by you. THAT is an art and a gift you possess. Keep it up! I'm not as good at it as are you...
You deserve a big bear hug! I'm glad you really enjoy the Social Community!!!! :) It is very nice to meet you! Yes, I agree that there is a wide variety of topics discussed on there. :)
Hee hee...yeah..bit of a quandary! I think they do sleep quite soundly....provided they have been fed recently! I see you had some fun and games with playing Fireman..woman...person...Oh, what ever the right political correct term is!
Keep being happy!
Welcome to our MedHelp Social Community! :)
I have no idea how I did it! I think I either bashed myself up in my sleep or a Super Termite did it! Someone suggested a platelet problem, who knows!!! Yes, I think perhaps your hubby may have used the "I was asleep" excuse on you! Hee hee...next time he does it, just knee him in the googlies...I did that once to my now ex husband...and pretended I had been asleep too! Hee hee!!!!
Just a quick note to say hi! I know what you mean about the on your own tiredness. Much and all as my son is being a pain and my friend who lives with me drives me nuts, I look forward to knowing I can be forced, in a sense, to stay awake! Otherwise I just mope around feeling tired!
Just a quick note to say hi! Saw your post about the potassium, and it can do that too, similarly as lack of calcium. It is actually more potentially dangerous than low calcium!
Yes, send the request to any of the CL's if its a post on thyroid. I'm on and offline today.
