Just a quick note to say hi!
I wanted to let you know that I appreciated your post to my question at the beginning of the month. Staying at a low dose(5mg) a day of methadone is what I have ended up doing. Can't say I'm happy about not quiting completly but for now this is best. I'm very sorry to hear about your son.
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today.
I am SO sorry to hear about your son and you are so wonderful to help others
Thank you for everything!
I take between 4 to 8 mgs a day. A year or so ago, I actually got down to 1/4 of one a day and then, stupidly, went back up. I wish I could take a week off from work and just be sick. It is so hard for me to take time off and when I do, I am bringing my kids to appts. (I have 3 teenagers/adults, 17, 18 and 20) Thanks for your time and concern. I need to care about myself enough to do it right.
Thank you again for posting about your son and his experience...I think you have a lot to give to this room and I am so glad that you come on and share so openly...My thoughts and prayers are with you...
Peaceful wishes from California

the story is as follows my husband took ambien and it killed him. He did not over dose. that's what my first thought was.,an over dose. It is listed as the cause of his death....... The combination or interaction of the two pills. NOT an over dose. He was a healthy man. we skied, walked, biked. you name it... we did it.
Listen to the television adds. It talks about side affects and the swelling and that it can be fatal. AND in my husbands case it was. I hope for you the best. I too know of many people that take ambien and love it. Till they can't get off it. guess your the lucky one. And i truly mean that. thank you for your thoughts
