Thank you man, yeah it does indeed feel REAL good waking up and not needing a few pills to get my day going, i am still haveing cravings and all, but i have learned that they do not last that long so when I do have one I just try to feel that time quickly to get my mind off of those pills...But yeah thanks man...And I think God that i never did sub or done cause lord from all tha reading i do that **** just creates a whole new prob if not VERY carefull

OMG! As I write this, there are eight wild turkeys within twenty feet of my back door. One of them has a lot more feathers, I assume is a male because he keeps doing this almost "preening" thing where he spreads out his feathers and hops around in front of the other turkeys. It's too cool to watch.

So much for freedom of speech, right? They deleted the whole post, everything, I can't even find it anymore. You're such a great guy for being clean and through with all of this **** dragging the rest of us down but yet you still stay on and give us support. I'm down to 45mgs, just having some problems waking up in the night with my legs hurting. I just take a 1 mg klonopin and it seems to ease it up. Still taking all of my vitamins and trying to exercise some. Kind of hard since it's getting a little cold here. Have you done anything exciting lately?

I was reading Holliee's story again and saw your response. I didn't realize that like Holliee and me, you have had the back surgery thing too. I had a rib removed and also titanium rods used to fuse four vertebrae in the thoracic and lumbar area. It's so much harder for people like us to come off pain meds when we hurt all the time anyway. Hope you have a great day and great weekend. What's up with plans for the weekend?

It's a good thing you kicked the Lions to the curb and went with the Vikings! The Vikings are tough this year. Bears don't play them until Dec. so I'm anxious for that! Thanks for being on this forum. I've actually been on here for about a year and a half but forgot my old user name and password. From reading the posts on here you give some great advice that has helped so many people. I'm currently tapering off vikes and getting ready to take the plunge. I was a year clean and went cold turkey last year. I started again due to back and sciatic pain but like always ended up taking way more than prescribed. Time for me to man up and kick these things once again. This forum is a great tool for motivation. Take care and hope all is well!

Don't let all that stuff get you down. You always seem to have such a cool outlook and remember, Rome was rebuilt. Things are going slow but steady with me. Hasn't hit me too hard yet. I go down again tomorrow and I plan on being around here until the end so hang in with me! You never know, I may come passing through your way one day and I will be completely free of this mess! Hope to have some pics up in a couple of weeks of me and my kids...

Really feel like I'm beating that at last. I've felt ok, or good but crazy or just plain crazy these last 24 days but only last couple have I felt sane and happy at the same time for first time in so many years. Its GREAT \o/
