Swollen Lump Node / Relation to Breast Augumentation

.I had a mamogram last month even though I am only 37 since women younger then me have gotten cancer. The mamogram showed a swollen lump node under my left arm just outside my breast implant. My doctor, and the radiologist recommended a repeat in 6 mo. The problem is I am trying to get pregnant so my doctor suggested I wait atleast 3 mo and repeat the mamogram. Now I am having a very mild constant pain where the lump node is, and my sister (She's a nurse) thinks that it is an infection from the implant. It is saline implant and I have had them for about 12 years problem free. It's hard with my doctor because when you mention implants, he wants me to see a specialist on implants. I don't have health insurance so it gets very difficult. Any suggestions on which way I should go. I thought of asking my doctor for an antibiotic just in case.
Thank you

Barbara JeanDear Barbara Jean, Swollen lymph nodes can be caused by a number of things, and can come and go which is why he would want to recheck as long as this is not causing problems. However if it is now causing you pain they may want evaluate further even if it is just asking questions such as: is the pain worsening, any redness, warmth, fever. These are some of the questions that will need to be discussed. If your doctor is concerned that this is an infection he may prescribe a course of antibiotics.
