Leah had her two month check up. She is 9#5oz and 23" long. She is almost exactly what Shelby was at her two month appointment. Within 2 oz! My long and skinny girls :) The colic continues but it'll be over soon they say.

Im holding Leah all day and night b/c she is so colicky. Will she ever sleep alone? Am I creating that bad habit everyone talks about? Im not into having my kids in my bed at a year or 2...

kricharI also BF'd and co slept till about 9 months... He is the best sleeper ever now. I also remember carrying him in a baby wrap from about 4weeks- 3 months.... My dr said if holding them stops the crying its not colic. Colic is uncontrollable or ...
sbumblebeeoOh she DEF colic. Holding her doesn't stop her from crying. She still cries. You have to walk and bounce and rock and move almost constantly. The doctor said true colic you can set a clock by and she is really bad every single night starting around dinner and lasting until 10 or 11 at night. The days she is pretty fussy but at least I can calm her down... usually. I'm just so afraid i'll never be able to more her to her crib. Some times she will sleep in her basinet for the first 4 hours but then she wakes up and eats and won't go back to sleep alone.
Leah is still colicky. They say she'll outgrow it at three months. do you really think she is just going to change and become a happy baby? We are all miserable...

hopeitworksI am so sorry to hear you are still having trouble with Leah. I have a GF whose 1st was this way and she waited 3yrs in between and her 2nd ended up the same way :( I hope things turn around for you
Alexis2358Don't worry...I was ready to throw my son out of the window also. I was imagining this beautiful happy situation...NOT....at 4 months it was like a light switch went off and he completely changed...have hope :). He started sleeping thru the night about that time too and life is now beautiful
haz1104my Son was like that and yes they outgrow it by 3months..my advice: feed her more often and keep her busy with a pacifier..makes life a whole lot easier..Good luck! :)
Alexis2358Yep, we did the pacifier too...he didn't like it much until about 3 - 4months, but then loved it....now at 22 months I have to figure out how to take it away for good...but hey...I had a happy baby when I needed it, so I have no regrets.
It's official. per our doctor Leah is colicky. I just don't know what to do. All she does is cry and fuss. She only sleeps for a half an hour here and there. I need some answers. Calm my baby please!!!

Wits777You thinking of using formula?? You could just buy a small can for like 8 bucks and see how she responds to it.. if it's the same then go back to BF.
sbumblebeeoI'm thinking about calling her ped and asking him what kind I should try but last night went wayyyyy better so now I don't know. I guess I'll wait another night.
I just don't know!! UGH
