My niece has been extubated and is breathing on her own. She will remain in the PICU while they begin to wean her off of anti-seizure medication. The Dr. said that this possibly occurred because my SIL was on celexa.
Thank you all! The MRI for my niece showed that the bleed will resolve on its own, and her prognosis is very good. She will remain intubated in PICU until it is smaller and then will be weaned off so she can learn to breath again.
I don't often ask for this, but please pray for my little niece. She was doing well and was released to go home today. Tonight she stopped breathing and was rushed back to the hospital.
