maatson Chronic lingual papulosis (CLP) is an innocuous entity represented by focal or diffuse enlargement of numerous lingual papillae, primarily the filiform papillae. It appears to usually have an adult onset and most likely represents papillary reaction.

maatson Do remember my earlier reply and seems to confirm you may be suffering from a chronic variant of lingual papilitis possibly relating to chronic irritation or allergy.

ashler1977 @learning, yes, i told the dermatologist i had these symptoms about 4 months post exposure. yes, maybe they want to rule out thrush and therefore he took oral swab for thrush and Elisa for HIV.
