Nighthawk61 if you have any extra time, try to check out free public speaking on youtube. You could take the time to plan ahead of time for the next presentation. it's incredible when yourself succeeding and doing something really well when you thought you couldn't.

Hollus Marcy you are an incredible person with a lot of passion for knowledge. Something that I have learned through my own trial and error is that there are things in this life that I will not understand, that I will not have an answer for and that is okay. I'm not perfect and I don't have all the answers and I'm not going to. Sometimes when I am having trouble focusing on what I am reading, cause I cannot shut my head off from all the other distractions rattling around, I take some deep breaths and just focus on my breathing to calm myself. Feel how the air feels going into my lungs and out.

Hollus Once I have calmed my head I start the reading by dissecting it sentence by sentence if I have to and then writing down what each paragraph is saying, what it means to me. This really helps me to refocus my attention on the reading at hand. The thing that helps so much is to remember to be one mindful. That just means that you focus on one thing at a time. Sometimes when I'm really struggling, I will focus hour by hour or minute by minute. I hope this helps some! I know you can do it; I believe in you!!

mishymoshymarcy It does help very much.. both of you! Thank you so much. That is something i need to practice- Mindfulness. Im thinking of buying this little journal that i saw in a store that says 'Mindfullness journal'.

mishymoshymarcy And there are all these inspirational journals, journals on happiness, thankfulness, etc... I think im going to ask for some for my birthday or for a Christmas present. Im going to need it for Year 12 next year. :)
