Belle313 Each baby develops in their own time.  I think you will feel better once you see improvement.

Shannon79 Strabismus is very common in infants. I worked in an optical for 12 years and I lost count of the number of infants with it. It's easier to correct when they're little. Everything will fall into place renae

Shannon79 It depends on how quickly the lazy eye takes to strengthen. It's usually a few months, but can take longer. Your dr will watch it closely and see how it's progressing

renae176 ok thanks. I was told the patches are like bandaids they stick to the skin around the eye, I hope he doesnt have to wear it long, He will prob try and pull it off

mhv The twins didn't crawl until they were 10 months 1 week old, and Drake, in the past 3 weeks has just really started talking a lot. I reallt thought he would need therapy.  His words atent really clear either.  They are almost 3.

TTC2006 I have a biter too, so I feel your pain l, literally. Try to stay consistent in what you do. Pull his face into your breast, when he lets go, put him down abruptly on the ground or in his crib and walk away from him. Hopefully he'll stop.

TTC2006 Repeat every time, "ouch, that hurts!"  Colby still bites me, but not as often. It took a long, long time for him to stop. Luckily most of the bites weren't too horrible, but they still hurt!  Some though, felt like he bit right through the skin!

TTC2006 Maybe try to unlatch him as soon as you recognize he's getting ready to bite.  Stick your finger in the corner of his mouth to pop him off before he gets a chance.
