renae176 Today was tuff it really upset me cause they told me everything was included and now its 1 or 2 meds that are not included so i cried for an hour and now im over it, I guess thats what comes wirth all these hormones, but thanks ladies 4 everything

Grace358 sounds like my clinic and what I had to do too.. In the end the extra needle costs wont matter when you have your healthy baby in your arms.. take care and keep going

Shannon79 Strabismus is very common in infants. I worked in an optical for 12 years and I lost count of the number of infants with it. It's easier to correct when they're little. Everything will fall into place renae

Shannon79 It depends on how quickly the lazy eye takes to strengthen. It's usually a few months, but can take longer. Your dr will watch it closely and see how it's progressing

renae176 ok thanks. I was told the patches are like bandaids they stick to the skin around the eye, I hope he doesnt have to wear it long, He will prob try and pull it off

Jack just went for a assesment at the hospital and they said hes only at a 4 month level with gross motor and communication skills, he has to have physiotherapy, Just upset. Didnt want him to be behind Apr 24 - 17

renae176 Cause he was in the NICU he had to have an assesment at 6 months, they checked his hearing, His gross motor skills, his fine motor skills and communication, they said his communication is at a 3 month level cause he should able to make DA BA not just

renae176 babble, and his Gross motor they said he was just above the 10th percentile,4 months  and that he should be able to sit with a toy in each hand, but cause he sits with his hands on each side of him its wrong, He should be able to pivot in a circle

renae176 The only thing he did great on was Fine motor he got a 7 month score, But they said he needs to learn to clap and  bang to toys together, The people that saw him was a Physiotherapist, a Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist

Hollus Everyone is different and learns differently! I don't even know how they can rate someone in the first place. As long as he is happy and healthy... He's the only 4 month old that I have ever known that can swim like he can, so try not to worry to much about it. If he is lagging behind the "average" he will catch up or exceed! He's a smart, handsome boy!
