hasn't seen a doctor in months...not that it matters...I still feel sick whether or not I see them.
About Me: Female, 23, Philadelphia - PA, member since Jun 2008
I recently graduated from college and am currently in graduate school, since I can't seem to get enough of long lectures, homework, exams, and research. A few weeks before I graduated in May 2008, though, I began experiencing a litany of symptoms that prompted a doctor' ... [More] s visit, lots of sporadic bloodwork, and the eventual realization that my thyroid appeared to be having problems...now, doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me since my thyroid bloodwork and tests change as often as the weather does, though they seem to err on the side of "normal". An MRI of my head in July 2008 revealed a large pineal cyst (13mm) and some unknown object sitting near one of my sinuses (according to my GP, but my neurologist isn't sure about this), and a "hallow" or shadowed spot in my left occipital lobe. Neurologists have diagnosed me as having migraines, an ENT has diagnosed me as having vocal cord paresis and acid reflux, a reproductive endocrinologist has diagnosed me with PCOS, and a pulmonary specialist diagnosed me as having idiopathic hypersomnolence. To summarize: I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I'm still hoping that somewhere, someday, a doctor will figure out what's going on with me so I don't have to feel sick for the rest of my life. [Less]

hello great to hear from you. i'm so-so.i've changed jobs about 3 months ago on promotion and although i'm away from chmicals its brings its own challenges. am very tired and because of that not very rational. sometimes i still fear what i've maybe done to myself with inhaling the 1,3 DCB and accidently pricking myself with needles years ago but on the whole i am better. still prefer to sit at home etc and the doctor wants me to take tablets but i don't want to go down that path. i can't believe your tutor! don't they have a responsibility to look after your welfare etc? is it all sorted now? hows the rash? and when did you get the vaccine? were you one of the groups of people to be offered it first? you looking forward to christmas too?
