About Me: Female, Republic of, Other, member since Jan 2005
Chronic pain patient thanks to abdominal adhesions resulting in constant bowel obstruction of one degree or another. My critters keep me laughing - a Dalmatian, a Dal X Lab mix, and a quaker parrot who wants to rule the universe. I can't hit the road much these days,
[More] but enjoy road trips on our Harley Davidson Electra Glide. Still enjoy gardening but not as extensively as ten years ago. I love being outside so when Winter descends I devote myself to genealogy research. Cracking old family legends is a great distraction from pain, as is music. I play the piano at home, and ring handbells and sing in the choir at church. Music is a wonderful vehicle to transport myself out of my misery, if only for a short time. Whatever works!
Just thought I'd let you know, Misty's recovering nicely (so far) Her belly looks like a car wreck, but vet checked scar, says it's OK, and she seems well enough in herself. I hope things are ok with you?
Misty had surgery and the bleeding wouldn't stop yesterday, but today it stopped. She's home now, resting up but eating ok and chilling! I'm also very sorry to hear about your brother's illness. Prayers for him too.
