About Me: Female, 30, In a little town, MA, member since Jul 2010
I am 30yrs old. I have been with my DF for 13 yrs now. We are Highschool Sweethearts. I suffer from stage IV endometriosis. Because of this disease we werent able to concieve naturally, after many years of trying and multiple surgeries we turned to IVF. Our 1st cycle fa
[More]iled and this crushed us. We took a much needed break from surgeries and "trying", for almost a year. In April 2011 I had a laparatomy and was told our best bet was IVF immediately. We started IVF #2 on Mothers Day. I just knew this was a sign. IVF#2 brought us our beautiful miracle Quinlan Alannah. We welcomed her into the world 2/13/12.
We hoped to be able to give Quinlan a sibling but God has other plans for us. I had a complete hysterectomy due to the Endometrisosis 2/27/13, One year and 1 week after celebrating the Best Gift Ive ever received the birth of my DD.
Infertility and endometriosis are two of the most heart wrenching journeys I have been on. But I can tell you. I wouldnt change a thing. I got my daughter out of all the struggles and heartache. I would do it all over again tomorrow, if I get to come right back here to this moment.
Remember HOPE- Hope is a friend, a healer and a keeper of DREAMS!!!!!!!
Oh no they still haven't fixed your account? How frustrating! I'm glad it's going well. We are doing ok here. Nothing really exciting happening on bed rest. I did get out a little bit with DH and we chose a stroller and car seat. I figured I better pick a car seat and get it now since my doctors don't really have high hopes for me to make it much longer. I hear their go for me is 27/28 weeks which I'm not fond of and I hope Jewel proves them wrong. Better to be prepared just in case
