About Me: Female, Encinitas, CA, member since Oct 2011
Was diagnosed 7 years ago with Genotype 1a. Was told I could have been infected more than 30 years ago. Waited for a better cure rate than what the combo therapy was offering for my genotype. I will be starting new treatment in about two weeks, will be adding Incivek
[More] to the the combo therapy. Since I was previously an RN, I will be monitoring my results. I am taking the positive approach that this WILL work.
Just got my 4 week post HARVONI blood work results! Still UNDETECABL! I will have another test 3 month post. Feeling so very optimistic.
Took my last Harvoni pill yesterday morning and had blood work drawn today. I was undetectable at 4 weeks and I am hoping for the great results this time. I will let you all know. I should have the results later this week.
On August 2012 I relapsed after being on Incevik, triple therapy. On December 1, 2014 I have started on HARVONI. Feeling good and keeping a positive attitude that this will be the cure I have been looking for.
Congrats on being nearly done. And thanks for checking up on me. My hemoglobin and RBC are down after week 1 but still normal range. Bottle 4 is coming on Tuesday. Almost 11 weeks down and 13 to go!
