Good Luck Today! We're thinking about you!
That is awesome! You're gonna be fine. The stay in the hospital will probably be the worst part. But once you get home, you can just reeeelllaaxx and recover...watch some movies, read some magazines...it'll be awesome.
I'm so happy the cyst is gone! I'm really anxious to get the ultrasound on Monday...and then I don't meet with the oncologist for the results until January 12th! But the oncologist said even if there is still some of the cyst in there, they won't remove it since I'm not in any pain. I seriously push on my stomach about 500 times a day just to make sure it's not hard again.I wonder when the paranoia will go away!
Good luck with surgery, you are gonna do great! You'll have to post pictures if you can get them.
Thanks for checking up on me!
Well you wouldn't believe this...last Friday, I started to touch my belly and it felt flat again and it was all soft. I was freaking out! It didn't hurt for about two hours and then the pain came. I was all crampy and achy and basically couldn't move until about Monday afternoon. I called my doc though and she said that was normal.
So I went to the oncologist last week and he examined me and sure enough, it burst! He said he's never seen a cyst that size burst and dissappear and he was in shock. I'm going for another ultrasound on Monday just to check things out again and then I'll meet with the oncologist again in January to go over the results but I think I'm in the clear.
How about you? When are you scheduled for surgery?
