About Me: Female, 32, Bristol, United Kingdom, member since Sep 2013
Hi well, my real name is Jo and I live in Bristol, UK. I was diagnosed with elevated Anti-TPO antibodies in January 2013 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (after a 10-month battle with my previous doctor to get diagnosed) in May 2013. I have been prescribed Levo but
[More] it hasn't really made much difference and so I'm now seeking alternative therapies.
My likes are:
Writing in my spare time
Drawing in my spare time
My hates are:
Being stared at
Suggestions/insinuations of being stupid/thick
Some facts about me:
* Not that it's something I brag about but an IQ test put me at 110 (above average)
* It took me 5 years (yes, I know) to qualify as a driver
* I was offered my first job on April Fool's Day (I thought it was a joke)
* I was predicted 1 B and 1 C GCSE and left school with 2 Bs and 3Cs
* Instruments I have played include the recorder, double bass, bass guitar and accordion
"After a long hard battle in the "do I or don't I have a goitre" issue I have decided not to take my medication.
I do not feel as though it was much benefit to me anyway as I still feel bad on the dose I am on.
