I was dx with HCV in late 2007, (I think I got it back in 1977 after a gama globulin injection to boost immune system. Was tested mid 90's when my AST/ALT were slightly elevated. I got a false negative) Month later dx of cirrhosis/ I had to treat 48 weeks SOC plus po
[More]lymerase inhibitor. Was UND between 6 and 7 weeks, relapsed within 6 weeks of finishing. So sick after tx, I was removed from my job. Waited til 2011 to start Incivek, Pegintron, Riba. It worked, I am cured. I am grateful though it took me a long time to recover. I have been cured since Feb 2012. I am here to pay it forward. As someone once said to me, we are standing on the shoulders of giants :)
Thank you. I am taking tramadol and aspirin but they don't help much. Funny, when I first started Trams I thought "This works! This is all I am ever going to need. but it did not last, like most pain meds there is the tolerance problem. Once your body get use to it, it stops working as well. I try to tell myself "Just shove to the back and live on! However chronic pain is relentless I mean RELENTLESS.:P I go to my doctor tomorrow and get my meds on the first. I hate being a person that sits around saying poor me!! Thanks for letting me vent. And how are you feeling today? Did I tell you about my friend?
