About Me: Female, 46, Calgary, AB, member since Jan 2008
Well, time to change my profile info. Have things ever changed since I came to MedHelp 4 years ago. I am 43, very happily married, and the proud mother of 1 amazing little boy born January 22, 2010. I came to MH when we first decided to have a baby in 2007. I was luck
[More]y enough to conceive very easily, but had 5 first trimester miscarriages in a row. Although we had much testing done, no real reason was ever found. It was an incredibly dark and difficult time in my life. The support I found here really got me through and I will be eternally grateful. In January of 2010 I finally gave birth to an amazing baby boy who is the absolute light of our lives. Although it wasn't easy, I can now say it was worth it. We have now decided we want to try for a second baby and hope to be fortunate enough to add to our family one more time. I had a 6th miscarriage late 2010. Obviously this wasn't intended to be easy for us, but whatever happens, we know how lucky we are to have our son.
