hello! Friggy. thanks for posting your experience with us about your treatment with sinusitis. I have a question. As a chronic sufferer of allergy and sinusitis, my coworkers said my voice has changed to hyponasal. One ENT used nasal endoscopy (a hard one) for observation in the clinic. Next morning, my nose suddenly poped open when I quickly rose up in bed. It was my happiest day as my head is clear. Three days later, I feel the tissue inside my nose clingy again and blocked. I have tried everything and every doctor, but nothing worked. is it that the sensation that poped is my ostia?? please share. thanks for your help. may be balloon sinusplasty would help??
Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Friggy, I had nasal polyps removed a couple of weeks ago and I can't smell. I have not been able to smell for a long time before surgery.
Can you please tell me your method of cleaning out your sinus cavities? I would appreciate it very much. Please go into detail if you will. Much Appreciated!! Theresa
Thanks Friggy, I saw the ENT and he put me on prednisone and a antibiotic, ocean saline, 2 x a day, and come back in 3 weeks, Since that time I started blowing out my right nostril large pieces of dark green debris, this has been hapening everyday and now I have this foul smell coming from both nostrils, this awful taste in my mouth and it seem's that the more I do the saline irrigation the smell gets worse, I was embarassed to tell anyone, I am going to try your method tomorrow., and have a appt. to see the ENT, I hope things will get better Thanks so much for the information
Thank you for your posting! I have tried to flush to no avail as you're right...it doesn't get to my sphenoid. I don't have problems with any of the other sinuses. One thing that does help is my inversion table. It seems to help when I'm upside down because the pressure is going a different way for a while. I'm going to check out your method...
I'll update this post after I see the ENT on the 8th.
