[More]nd depression since my best friend passed away in a car accident three years ago & other very personal problems.Life was like an emotional and physical rollorcoaster, I have suffered with panic attacks, bad depression, insomnia (which is now worse then ever before) using drink and drugs as a way to break away from things, but now I know they just made things worse as everything came crashing down aftwards. Now, almost two years on I am drug free, building self confidence without the use of drugs and drink, I'm working, I haven't had a big panic attack in a long while, I still get occasional anxiety but really nothing that worries me, I do still have problems sleeping but not as badly as I used to. I can handle things alot more then I used to, I'm no longer paranoid, angry, upset, or low, yes I occasionally feel anxious when I get stressed, but I have learnt how to calm things down=).
Thank you med help for transfoming me into a different and better person,... especially to a certain really good friend i've made on here xx u know who you are miss=) ;) xxx.. and thanks to the friends, family and boyfriend also I love you all.
If anyone ever wants any advice, please don't hesitate to message me, I've been through the ups and downs in life thats for sure, dealt with it in the wrong way, that's for sure! but, I learnt from it, and I am here for anyone who needs me =)-I'm not online much but when I do go online, I will message you back =). love Laura
Glad you've got control again. Maintain it, think of how much your life will be improved now. Forget the insomnia as far as you can. I'm on Zop.for life,Itdoesn't make me sleep, but it does help psychologically. Some of us are not fated to sleep. It doesn't seem to do us much long term harm unless we worry about it. That's almost impossible to do.But I've never found the ability to sleep right through a night. Now I'm fine, just been for a nice fast bike ride. We have had some kind of Flying Chinese Pig flu or something, that's kept us grounded for a couple of weeks, but my venture out today indicates that all's well. Hope you are enjoying life & having some nice times?Sleep problems sometimes lead to more problems, but there's lots of different ways to approach iit. Try & find one.Cheers
Very good to hear that you are now 'cured', it's wonderful that you beat it. Well done. Be kind to yourself & when you feel stressed just do something to relax & take it easy. I'm pleased for you. Best wishes, George
