I get migraines. It is sort of lame. I hope they go away soon.
I curr ... [More] ently take preventative medication for my migraines. I also use acute migraine medication to help stop individual migraine attacks. I have tried a number of preventative medications in the past as well as acute medications. I am working, along with my doctors, to find a successful system of prevention of future migraines and management of acute attacks.
I also have a Chiari I malformation. That basically means that my brain is too big for my skull. Haha. But.. seriously... I have a herniation of my cerebellum out of my foramen magnum by 12 mm with crowding of the foramen magnum and displacement of the cervical spinal cord.
I also suffer from chronic neck, shoulder and upper back pain.
Mostly though... my life is consumed by my migraines... and I really wish it wasn't. One day... one day... [Less]
